Head over here to get a new Sam’s Club membership for $25 instead of $60! You’ll get all of the savings of Sam’s Club, along with access to the best gas prices I’ve found. Gas is ridiculously, astronomically expensive everywhere. To give you an idea of how much better Sam’s Club prices are…today (5/20) at the Tempe Marketplace location, Regular Unleaded is $4.34 a gallon. At the Tempe Costco on Elliot Road, gas is currently $4.55 a gallon. You’ll save $4.20 every time you fill your 20-gallon tank at Sam’s Club versus Costco (assuming prices stay similar). You’ll more than pay for your $25 membership after 6 fill-ups. A QT location in Tempe has gas for $4.90 a gallon, according to a Google search (and this is in no way the most expensive place to go).

Interestingly, Circle K, Chevron, Arco, and QT do not advertise their prices on their websites. Sam’s Club and Costco do (I recommend checking before you leave). Some of their own locations even have different prices.
