On a Mission to Inspire, Educate & Engage!
This Washington Street exploration station is open daily and packs four levels of interactive exhibits with more than 300 hands-on activities. You and your family will learn about the solar system, compare different brains, and experience a high-wire physics lesson — and that’s just scratching the surface. Located in the Sybil B. Harrington Galleries, “Grossology: The (Impolite) Science of the Human Body,” runs through Monday, September 7. The exhibition lets kids get their hands dirty while discovering all the biological reasons behind things like runny noses, body odor, and more unappealing bodily functions. They’ll be totally grossed out as they explore hands-on, interactive elements — like becoming a dust particle to learn about sneezing, pumping soda into a cartoon character to understand burps, and sliding through the digestive system to see what it all looks like from the inside out.”

Enjoy!
