Gas prices have gone up significantly since the war in Iran began. One way to save big at the pump is with a Costco or Sam’s Club membership. In my experience, their prices are around $.50 a gallon less than at competing stations (which can add up FAST)! If you still don’t have a Costco membership, head over here to get one through Groupon. You’ll pay $65 now, but they’ll send you a $45 digital Costco shop card within two weeks (so it’s like paying $20). Make sure to check out all of the requirements for the discounted membership (you can’t have a membership that expired yesterday for example).
You could actually make money on this deal if you’ve never used Rakuten (formerly Ebates). Head over here to join (when you use my link, you’ll get a $50 bonus after your first $50 purchase through the site). Search for Groupon and click “shop now”. You’ll get 4% back from Groupon plus the $50 bonus! Head over here to see a post from last year that explains the program (percentages back change all the time).

Head over here to get a Sam’s Club membership for just $20 (usually $50). They also have great gas prices (and deals on all kinds of other things). I know quite a few people who actually prefer Sam’s Club to Costco.
The price of gas at the Sam’s Club in Tempe is currently $3.60/gallon for regular unleaded ($4.04 for premium). I love that they update their gas prices on their website!
The price of gas at the Costco on 44th Street and Oak in Phoenix is currently $3.85 for regular unleaded ($4.39 for premium). They update their gas prices on their website too!
Looks like Sam’s Club wins today.
Enjoy!
