Confession time: We’ve lived in our two story house for over six years now and I have ALWAYS wanted a really tall Christmas tree for our family room with tall ceilings. I refuse to pay the $700, $1000, even $2000 I’ve seen 12 foot tree listed for. So I took a chance last week. I picked up this Holiday Time 12 foot pre-lit Christmas tree for $189.96 shipped from Walmart based solely on the reviews (which are pretty great).

I ordered the tree on Friday (December 6th) with standard shipping and it showed up on Monday (December 9th). The box weighed 45 pounds and there was no way I could get it in the door, I  had to wait for my husband to come home. We put it up quickly yesterday night after the big FLASH giveaway and I have to say I LOVE IT! I have to spend some time fluffing out the branches today but the quality is amazing (and all 1100 lights worked). It feels every bit as good as our 7 and a half foot tree that we paid a lot for.

We are now a two tree family! One for our family ornaments and our new one by the fireplace.

If you have tall ceilings but never wanted to pay for a tall tree, check this one out. I just feel completely in the Christmas spirit now!
